Lilly McGuire has an AS in Culinary Arts from Missoula Vocational Technical School in Missoula, MT with special course work in Food Service Sanitation. She has always loved to cook; spending time with her grandmother in the kitchen was always a special time for her as a child. For the past 30 plus years Lilly has cooked in, managed and owned restaurants in Oregon, Washington and Montana. She has also cooked in hospitals and nursing facilities in Montana and Oregon preparing medically specific diets. Being diabetic, with high blood pressure and high triglycerides herself she is all too familiar with the dietary problems of people with medical issues and their need to eat properly. Her goal is to help the people of Central Oregon maintain a high quality of life through proper nutrition.
Healthy comfort foods are Lilly’s specialty. Good home cooking is what she does with an emphasis on delicious healthy entrees and side dishes. She believes that every family should be able to sit down at the table together and enjoy at least one meal a day without the pressure of having to rush around or the stress of having to make a decision on ‘what’s for dinner’.
